Complete evening and nighttime closures of Highway 30 and its on-ramps, starting October 5
The ministère des Transports et de la Mobilité durable advises the public that full evening and overnight closures will take place on Autoroute 30 in both directions, as well as on ramps at the Autoroute 30 and Autoroute 40 interchange and ramps connecting Autoroute 30 and Route 340 in Vaudreuil-Dorion. These closures are required to continue construction of the footbridge over Autoroute 30 and the second roundabout at the intersection of Route 340 and rue Henry-Ford. Although this roundabout is expected to open in approximately one week, partial closures are planned until the end of November.
Closures and traffic management
From October 5 at 9 p.m. to October 6 at 5 a.m.
From October 6 at 9 p.m. to October 7 at 5 a.m. (if needed)
Full closure of Autoroute 30 in both directions between exit 2 (Saint-Lazare, boulevard de la Cité-des-Jeunes) and Autoroute 40.
Associated ramp closures:
- Ramps from westbound Autoroute 30 to eastbound and westbound Autoroute 40
- Ramp from Route 340 to westbound Autoroute 30;
- Ramps from eastbound and westbound Autoroute 40 to eastbound Autoroute 30.
From October 6 at 11:59 p.m. to October 10 at 11:59 p.m.
- Full closure of the ramp from Route 340 to westbound Autoroute 30.
October 18 and 19, from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning on each night
Closure of westbound Autoroute 30 between exit 2 (Saint-Lazare, boulevard de la Cité-des-Jeunes) and Autoroute 40.
Associated ramp closures:
- Ramps from westbound Autoroute 30 to eastbound and westbound Autoroute 40;
- Ramp from Route 340 to westbound Autoroute 30.
October 20, 21 and 22, from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning on each night
Closure of eastbound Autoroute 30 between Autoroute 40 and exit 2 (Route 340, boulevard de la Cité-des-Jeunes, Saint-Lazare).
Associated ramp closures:
- Ramps from eastbound and westbound Autoroute 40 to eastbound Autoroute 30
Until the end of November
- Occasional single-lane closures on westbound Route 340 (boulevard de la Cité-des-Jeunes) between rue Henry-Ford and Autoroute 30.
Detour routes will be marked with temporary signage.
Work may be postponed, extended or cancelled due to adverse weather conditions or operational constraints. Before heading out, road users are therefore encouraged to consult Québec 511, a useful tool for planning their trips, and to download the Québec 511 mobile app to enable notifications.
For the safety of road users and workers, compliance with posted signage is essential.
Second roundabout opening
The second roundabout, located at the intersection of Route 340 and rue Henry-Ford, will open in early October. Road users are encouraged to pay close attention to posted signage. When approaching a roundabout, drivers must slow down and yield to road users already circulating within it. If traffic is too heavy, drivers must come to a complete stop before entering the roundabout.
