Parc de la Maison-Valois

With its skating oval, two skating rinks on Vaudreuil Bay, walking and snow scooter trail, and sliding hill, the parc de la Maison-Valois is a winter destination to discover.

To find out whether the skating oval, the two ice rinks on the Baie de Vaudreuil and sliding hill are open, visit the Bâtiments et plateaux sportifs section of the citizen portal.

  • Park open until 9 p.m.
  • Lighting of the hill until 9 p.m. (as of mid-January)

The parc de la Maison-Valois includes:

  • A skating chalet (washrooms and equipment loan)
  • A skating oval (closed for the 2025-2026 season)
  • A walking and snow scooter trail
  • A sliding hill (closed for the 2025-2026 season)
  • A warm area inside Maison Valois
  • A lighted rest area with fireplaces
  • A parking area

When weather conditions permit the opening of the ice ring, the chalet Valois will be accessible according to the following schedule:

Sliding hill

Closed for the 2025–2026 season

The winter sliding hill is divided into two sections: a tubing and sliding area, and a snowskate park.

Equipment rental:

Tubes: free for everyone.
Snowskate boards, scooters, and helmets: free for residents upon presentation of proof of residence. An ID must be left by anyone aged 14 or older for the duration of the rental.

Rules

  • Use safe sliding equipment, respect the instructions for use and keep feet and hands inside the equipment while sliding.
  • Make sure the course is clear before starting down the slope.
  • Do not slide in groups or headfirst.
  • Clear the bottom of the slopes as quickly as possible without interfering with the sliding of other users.
  • Use only the lift corridors.
  • It is forbidden to access the site outside opening hours or when the "Glissade fermée" sign is posted.
  • Children aged 10 and under must be supervised by an adult.
  • Helmets are strongly recommended.
  • In case of emergency, call 911.

Snow park

This section is designed for tricks and jumps on modules.

Reserved for snowskate practice.

Rules

  • Helmets are mandatory.
  • Snowskating involves risks.
  • For safety reasons, it is preferable to practice this activity in the presence of a third party.
  • Children aged 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
  • To avoid collisions, only users are allowed in the snow park.
  • Respectful behavior is required to ensure the safety of all users.
  • It is recommended that modules be inspected before use, and throughout the day.
  • It is forbidden to access the site outside opening hours or when the Parc à neige fermé sign is displayed.
  • In case of emergency, call 911.
