Intercultural Encounters Month
Throughout Quebec, a wide variety of activities will take place to highlight the importance of encounters and sharing among Quebecers of all backgrounds during Quebec Intercultural Encounters Week, which will run from November 2 to 8 under the theme “Le Québec en commun.” The goal is to highlight the significant contribution of citizens of all backgrounds to community life in Quebec through dialogue and intercultural understanding, and to showcase the positive impact of immigration and diversity on Quebec’s development.
In Vaudreuil-Dorion, organizations are joining forces with the City to celebrate intercultural relations throughout the month of November through a rich and varied program of events, made possible thanks to financial support from the ministère de l'Immigration, de la Francisation et de l'Intégration du Québec.

Immigration Stories to Discover
Behind every immigration story is a person, a set of experiences, and a story to tell. To mark Intercultural Encounters Month, residents of Vaudreuil-Dorion are sharing their stories in a series of video profiles. They invite us to get to know them and to discover, through their eyes, the diversity of experiences that enrich our community.
