Drop-in activities

The City provides fitness facilities for residents of Vaudreuil-Dorion for free practice of certain sports. Equipment is provided on-site.

Outdoors

Loan of equipment at the Maison-Valois Park 

  • Skates (children and adults)
  • Snowshoes (children and adults)
  • Self-service snow toys

Available Monday to Friday between 6 and 9:30 p.m., and all day Saturday and Sunday.

Free, residents only (proof of residency).
ID must be left at the kiosk during the one-hour rental.

Rental must be made by a person 16 years of age or older.

COVID-19 vaccination passport

The vaccination passport, including a proof of identity (with photo for people aged 16 to 74), is required to participate in activities and events organized by the City of Vaudreuil-Dorion, in accordance with government directives. This measure applies to people 13 years of age and older.

Reservations

In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, government measures are restricting the number of people who can use the indoor gymnasium. Therefore, reservations are mandatory and must be made online two days before the desired period as early as 9 a.m. Registration by phone is also possible for people without access to a computer (450 455-3371, option 4). Only residents can make reservations and only the citizen card is accepted as proof of residence.

General instructions 

  • Reservations are required to participate in activities. One reservation per court is required for badminton and pickleball. For climbing, each person present must make a reservation, even if the parent does not wish to participate. 

  • Badminton and pickleball can be played in singles or family bubble. Doubles play is only possible in the same family bubble. Proof of residency will be required upon arrival.

  • Activities are reserved for Vaudreuil-Dorion residents due to limited space.

  • The vaccination passport, including a proof of identity (with photo for people between 16 and 74 years old), is required to participate in the activities, according to government guidelines. This applies to those 13 years of age and older.

  • Wearing a mask is recommended whenever possible for badminton and pickleball.
