Drop-in activities

The City provides fitness facilities for residents of Vaudreuil-Dorion for free practice of certain sports. Equipment is provided on-site.

Outdoors

Sports program

  • July 3 to August 27
  • Maison-Valois Park (except for the ying yang yoga which takes place at Le 405 Park)
  • No registration required
  • Activities cancelled in case of rain

Family circuit training
Circuit training, a fun family workout in the great outdoors

  • Sundays, from July 3 to August 21
  • 10 to 10:45 a.m.

Zumba
Choreographed aerobic dance steps infused with Latin rhythms such as salsa, cha-cha, reggaeton, merengue and mambo

  • Wednesdays, from July 6 to August 24
  • 6 to 7 p.m.

Circuit training
A fun and effective workout for adults to improve cardiovascular fitness, strength and endurance for all fitness levels

  • Thursdays, from July 7 to August 25
  • 4 to 5 p.m.

Fit Stroller
A fit stroller session followed by a strength training period to increase strength and endurance for new parents. Stroller and baby carrier required.

Ying yang yoga
Gentle yoga. Yoga mat required.

Reservations

Reservations are required to participate in badminton, pickleball, volleyball and climbing and must be made online two days before the desired period as early as 9 a.m. Registration by phone is also possible for people without access to a computer (450 455-3371, option 4). Only residents can make reservations and only the citizen card is accepted as proof of residence.

  • Residents: Free with the resident card
  • Non-residents : 5$

General instructions 

  • Reservations are required to participate in badminton, pickleball, volleyball and climbing. One reservation per court is required for badminton and pickleball. For climbing, each person present must make a reservation, even if the parent does not wish to participate. 

  • Badminton and pickleball can be played in singles or family bubble. Doubles play is only possible in the same family bubble. Proof of residency will be required upon arrival.

  • Activities are reserved for Vaudreuil-Dorion residents due to limited space.

  • Wearing a mask is recommended whenever possible for badminton and pickleball. 

Schedule from March 7 to May 15, 2022

The mask will be mandatory to take part in climbing as well as for activities where physical distance is difficult to respect (basketball, volleyball, cosom hockey, soccer).

Free climbing is cancelled on May 1st and 15th due to a competition.
