Drop-in activities
The City provides fitness facilities for residents of Vaudreuil-Dorion for free practice of certain sports.
Three participation options
To make drop-in activities more accessible, the City has implemented three ways to participate, in order to meet user needs and optimize access to gymnasiums. These adjustments follow a survey conducted with users and an analysis of attendance statistics.
1. Free Individual Reservations
- Available for: pickleball, badminton, and climbing
- One time slot per person per day
2. Free Activity Without Reservation (new)
- Available for: badminton, basketball, pickleball, soccer, and volleyball
- How it works: first come, first served
- For racquet sports at école des Légendes (badminton and pickleball), court rotations will be implemented when the number of participants exceeds the number of available courts.
3. Court Rental $30/hour (new)
- Available for: pickleball and badminton
- Choose your time slot, number of blocks, and playing partners
- Court rental is reserved for citizens, but they may invite one or more non-resident participants to join their group
Reservations
- Online reservations and court rentals are available only to Vaudreuil-Dorion residents.
- It's important to create an account on the registration platform to be able to book.
- Reservations and court rentals can be made starting at 9:00 a.m., two days before the activity.
- A resident card is required for reservations and court rentals.
- If you do not arrive within 15 minutes of your reservation time, your reservation will be cancelled (this does not apply to court rentals, which are non-refundable).
- Phone reservations (450 455-3371) can be made with the Service des loisirs et de la culture from Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.. No reservations will be accepted via voicemail.
- Non-residents must pay a $10 fee per entry per sport. This fee does not apply to court rentals, which must be made by a Vaudreuil-Dorion resident.
Cancellations
If you cannot attend the activity for which you are registered, please cancel by writing to annulationactivite@ville.vaudreuil-dorion.qc.ca before 4:00 p.m. the day before your reservation.
Include your name and the time slot you wish to cancel.
The City reserves the right to apply measures in the event of no-shows or failure to follow the cancellation procedure.
Session: October 11 to December 14, 2025
At l’école secondaire des Échos, all activities are cancelled on November 16.
The volleyball session scheduled at école Brind'Amour on Thursday, December 4, has been cancelled.

Climbing
- For safety reasons, children under the age of 4 are not permitted on the climbing wall.
- Children under the age of 10 must be accompanied by someone aged 16 or over to supervise them in the climbing area.
- Only those who have registered in advance will be allowed to climb.

Useful details
- Equipment available on site (free of charge)
- Sports shoes and clothing required for all activities
- Children aged 7 and under must be accompanied by an adult (10 and under for rock climbing).
- During open activities at the Centre multisports André-Chagnon, access to the gym is reserved for participants. Accompanying adults are invited to wait in the second-floor mezzanine.
- At école secondaire des Échos, access to the gyms is through the community entrance.
- At école des Légendes, access to the gym is through the east entrance.
