2026 Participatory Budget: Choose the Winning Project!
From November 2 to 30, 2026, Vaudreuil-Dorion residents are invited to choose the project that will be carried out through the participatory budget. This initiative gives residents an opportunity to propose concrete ideas to improve their living environment and take part directly in decisions that shape their community.
This year, nine projects were submitted under the general stream. They were assessed against the program’s eligibility criteria, including technical feasibility, cost, alignment with municipal responsibilities and benefits to the community. Following this assessment by a coordinating committee made up of representatives from various municipal departments, three projects were selected for the public vote.
No projects were submitted under the youth stream this year. The Ville will continue its efforts to promote the initiative among young people and encourage them to participate in future editions.
The Ville has allocated $65,000 to carry out the project that receives the most votes.
