The Ville de Vaudreuil-Dorion announces farewell to its directrice générale adjointe
After 13 years of service to the Ville de Vaudreuil-Dorion, during which she distinguished herself through her commitment, professionalism and leadership, the directrice générale adjointe, Mélissa Côté, a trained notary, will step down from her post on June 19 to take on a new professional challenge at the Chambre des notaires du Québec.
Having joined the City as greffière adjointe, a role she held for ten years, Mélissa Côté has served as directrice générale adjointe for the past three years. Throughout her career, she has distinguished herself through her rigour, her ability to inspire teams, and her deep commitment to the municipal organisation and her hometown.
“I am excited to join the Chambre des notaires and contribute my expertise and vision, but this departure is also a very emotional one,” said Maître Côté. “The Ville de Vaudreuil-Dorion means much more to me than just a workplace. I have grown both professionally and personally here, as part of a talented and collaborative team with whom I have had the privilege of working all these years. I am leaving with a heart full of gratitude and deep appreciation for everything this journey has given me. Vaudreuil-Dorion will always hold a special place in my career and in my heart.”
The executive management and the municipal council wish to highlight Mélissa Côté’s exceptional contribution to the organization’s development. Through her people-oriented approach, her great competence, and her unifying energy, she has contributed to numerous transformative projects and left a lasting mark on the municipal administration.
