Tania Lê appointed greffière and directrice du Service du greffe et des affaires juridiques of Ville de Vaudreuil-Dorion

The Ville de Vaudreuil-Dorion is pleased to announce the appointment of Tania Lê, as greffière and directrice du Service du greffe et des affaires juridiques for the Ville de Vaudreuil-Dorion. Ms. Lê began her new position today.

Lawyer and a member of the Barreau du Québec, Tania Lê is also a member of the Corporation des officiers municipaux agréés du Québec. She has previously served as greffière for the Ville de Baie-D’Urfé and as cheffe de service du greffe et greffière adjointe for the Ville de Brossard. Passionate about process optimization, she holds a “Yellow Belt” certification in the Lean Six Sigma methodology.

“I am delighted to welcome Ms. Lê to the Ville de Vaudreuil-Dorion. Our management team and the entire organization will undoubtedly benefit from the experience she has gained in the other municipalities where she has worked. Her expertise will be a valuable asset to the City,” said City Manager Olivier Van Neste.

The Ville de Vaudreuil-Dorion’s Service du greffe et des affaires juridiques, composed of ten people, provides the administrative and legal support necessary for conducting and following up on City Council meetings. It is responsible for the process of adopting by-laws, the bidding process, and the opening of bids. It publishes the public notices required by law. It receives and manages claims against the City. As the designated official, the City Clerk receives and responds to requests for access to information. The Department also serves as the custodian of all City records and oversees the sale of properties with unpaid property taxes. Finally, the City Clerk acts as presiding officer during municipal elections or referendums.
