Support for organizations
The Ville de Vaudreuil-Dorion recognizes the indispensable contribution of the many organizations that provide services to the residents of Vaudreuil-Dorion in fields as diverse as sports, recreation, arts and culture, as well as community development and diversity.
That is why the City relies on its Policy on the Recognition of Organizations to meet their needs and strengthen its partnership with them.
Organizations recognized by the City receive financial support, assistance with equipment and infrastructure, and promotional and administrative support. These various forms of support are detailed in the service package.
The call for proposals will be open from September 1 through September 25, 2026, inclusive. Grant application forms will be available on this page only during this period. We encourage you to stay tuned for further details and to begin developing your proposals.
Application for Recognition
Request a preliminary meeting

Documents to submit with the application
- A resolution from the organization’s board of directors authorizing the application for recognition;
- Documents related to the organization’s financial situation that comply with accounting principles based on the operating budget;
- The registration number with the Quebec Enterprise Registry (REQ) or Corporations Canada;
- An up-to-date list of the members of the board of directors;
- A copy of the bylaws;
- Proof of insurance;
- The minutes of the last two annual general meetings (AGMs), unless the organization is newly established, in which case they are not required;
- Proof of affiliation with the federation, if applicable to the organization.

Documents to submit with the application
- A letter of support or a resolution from the board of directors authorizing the organization to submit an application, signed by two board members.
Evaluation Criteria
Applications for funding submitted as part of the annual call for proposals are evaluated based on the following criteria:
- Clarity, accuracy, structure, and realism of the information
- Consistency with the City’s policies, strategies, action plans, regulations, and priorities
- Target audience: residents of Vaudreuil-Dorion
- Collaboration and partnerships
- Proportion of support requested from the City
- Location of the event in Vaudreuil-Dorion
- Innovation and impact (for special projects only)
- Outreach and communication strategies (for events only)
Accountability
The organization must complete the form provided by the City and include a report on the activities carried out, an assessment of the impact, and a financial report. In addition, the organization must provide valid and credible supporting documents, such as financial statements, major invoices, contracts, service agreements, etc.
