Online registration for activities is recommended. Only payments by credit card (Visa or Mastercard) are accepted, and a resident’s card is required.

Swimming

Swimming lessons

Registrations for 2019 Spring session will be held from March 12, 12:30 PM to March 18, 8:30 AM online via « Mon inscription » or in person at the Recreation and Culture Department during business hours. It is important to create your account on the egistration platform before March 10, if you have not already done so. No registration will be taken on March 14 between 8:30 AM and 12:30 PM. 

* For non-residents, registrations starts on March 14 at 12:30 PM.

Aquatic Certification


Online registration via  « Mon inscription » or in person at the Recreation and Culture Department during business hours according to the fllowing dates : 

  • Aquatic Safety Monitor: February 25, 12:30 PM to March 8, 8:30 AM 
  • Bronze Medal: March 12, 12:30 PM to March 18, 8:30 AM 

Summer Camp – Animation Jeunesse Vaudreuil-Dorion

Registration to the summer camp Animation Jeunesse Vaudreuil-Dorion starts on March 26, 12:30 PM. You may register online via « Mon inscription » or directly at the Recreation and Culture Department during business hours. (limited places)   

* If you have not already created your account on the new registration platform, you must do so before March 21 to be able to register your child.

CANCELLATION AND REPAYMENT

For any change or refund request, complete the refund or transfer request form (In French) and send it by e-mail to the Recreation and Culture Department. 10% administration fee in case of cancellation after July 1st, except on presentation of a medical certificate. Cancellation is possible until 6 p.m. on the Tuesday preceding camp week. 

Specialized Camps – L'Air en fête

Registration to the specialized camps L'Air en fête starts on April 2, 12:30 PM. You may register online via « Mon inscription » or directly at the Recreation and Culture Department during business hours. (limited places)

* If you have not already created your account on the new registration platform, you must do so before March 22 to be able to register your child.

Pickleball

Online booking is possible for the two courts available in the morning during weekdays for pickleball in the Omnisports Room of the Centre Multisports. It is important to create your account on the registration platform to access this new feature.

Three time slots of 1 hour 30 minutes are available for each court according to the following schedule: 8:30–10:00 AM, 10:00–11:30 AM and 11:30–1:00 PM. Note that the fields will be reserved for beginners on Tuesdays (8:30 to 10:00 AM), Wednesdays (8:30 to 10:00 AM) and Friday (11:30 AM to 1:00 PM). Players can book their time slot starting at 9:00 AM until 5:30 PM (Monday to Thursday) and until 4:00 PM (Friday) the day before the activity.

  • Reservations are not obligatory, but highly recommended. Players who have booked a time slot have priority access to the sports facilities.
  • Each player must make his own reservation. It is not possible for a person to book for a group of players.
  • Players will not be allowed to enter the field until the time they reserved it. They will also have to leave at the end of the time slot.
  • Each player is entitled to one time slot per day.
  • Players who have booked a time slot are permitted to be late for a maximum of 15 minutes. After this period, latecomers lose their priority for the reserved court.
  • In the event that a court is not occupied, new players have priority over those who have already had a reservation during the day.

School break

Weekly day camp

Registration to the school break day camp starts on January 30, 12:30 PM. It will take place at the Opticentre St-Jean-Baptiste from March 4 to 8, 2019.
Please note that the health insurance card is necessary for registration at the School Break camp.

One-off activities

The activities take place in the community halls of the Recreation and Culture Department, located on the 2nd floor of the Multisport Center, in the gymnasiums of the Centre Multisports and at Maison Félix-Leclerc. They are offered to school-aged children and their parents. Children six years old and under must be accompanied by an adult.

Formation DAFA

The City offers DAFA training (diplôme d’aptitude aux fonctions d’animateur) for prospective counsellors. Participants must be between the ages of 15 and 17 or be in the process of completing Secondary III. Training has two components. The theoretical part runs from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM from March 4th to 8th, plus May 18th. Subsequently, a practical training course within an accredited recreational organization in the summer of 2019 will put into practice the techniques learned. Residents of
Vaudreuil-Dorion will pay $15 for training (with presentation of their resident’s card), or $30 for non-residents.
