Garou and Loud Headline the 20th Anniversary of the Festival de cirque Vaudreuil-Dorion
The City of Vaudreuil-Dorion is proud to announce the 20th edition of the Festival de cirque, taking place on June 26–28 on Jeannotte Street, which has become, over the years, a cornerstone of this unifying and must-attend early summer event.
For two decades, the Festival de cirque has brought the heart of Vieux-Vaudreuil to life and established itself as one of the region’s major summer events. A true tradition for many families, it marks the start of the school holidays each year in a festive and welcoming atmosphere. This 20th edition holds special significance. It highlights not only the Festival’s longevity and success, but also its role in shaping the cultural identity of Vaudreuil-Dorion.
The City has already begun the celebrations by featuring the Festival in its municipal calendar, revisiting key moments in its history through striking images and paying tribute to the passion and vision of its founder, Yannick Gosselin.
Two major nights of performances not to be missed
To mark this anniversary, the Festival will present two large-scale evenings of performances featuring renowned artists, each making their first appearance in Vaudreuil-Dorion:
- On Friday, June 26, Loud, a leading figure in Quebec’s rap scene, will take the stage with a
brand-new high-energy show featuring his biggest hits and new material, all within a refreshed stage production.
To kick off the evening, he will be preceded by his collaborator Rymz, who will deliver an
explosive medley of his hits, including the very popular song Goodbye. Together, they promise a memorable evening—a celebration of local rap not to be missed. - On Saturday, June 27, Garou will revisit more than 25 years of his career through his greatest
hits and new songs in an emotional performance. Over the years, the Sherbrooke-born artist has sold more than 5 million albums and received numerous awards and distinctions worldwide.
The opening act will be the Band de la Cité, made up of students and graduates from école secondaire Cité-des-Jeunes. Their diverse musical repertoire showcases the richness of local talent. The group first performed at the Festival de cirque in 2013.
Over the years, the Festival de cirque Vaudreuil-Dorion has evolved and expanded its programming, now offering a rich experience that combines street arts, artistic performances, family activities and large-scale shows.
“Over the past 20 years, the Festival de Cirque has brought people together and created memories that span generations. It is a collective project that mobilizes our entire community—residents, organizations, businesses and municipal teams—while also marking the beginning of summer. It is this shared energy that makes it such a strong and unifying event year after year,” said Paul Dumoulin, Mayor of Vaudreuil-Dorion.
The full program, as well as special activities surrounding the 20th anniversary, will be unveiled in the coming weeks.

Fête nationale du Québec
Please note that the Fête nationale du Québec, including the highly anticipated fireworks display,
will take place on June 23 at the Campus de la Cité-des-Jeunes. Once again this year, it is separate from the Festival de cirque Vaudreuil-Dorion. The full program will be announced in early June.
