The popular Summer Book Club is back with a new look
This summer, the Vaudreuil-Dorion Library invites young people to embark on a journey of discovery and adventure with the 2026 Summer Reading Club, which will run from July 4 to August 29. For this edition, the theme “Mysteries and Investigations” will serve as the guiding thread for the activities offered throughout the summer.
The BiblioClub, organized by the Association des bibliothèques publiques du Québec, replaces the former TD Summer Reading Club program that the City participated in previously. Aimed at promoting the joy of reading during the summer, the BiblioClub offers a host of opportunities to discover new stories while having fun.
Young members aged 15 and under are invited to register starting Saturday, July 4, and take on the
various challenges suggested throughout the summer. By borrowing books from the library, they’ll be able to collect clues week after week and take part in several activities inspired by the “Mysteries and Investigations” theme.
Participants will also have a chance to win numerous prizes, including games, books, gift certificates, e-readers, and many other surprises. The Summer BiblioClub also features a drawing contest, artsand-crafts activities, park events organized by the Caravane Mozaïk, and a closing party to be held on August 30 at the library.
“The Summer BiblioClub is a wonderful opportunity for young people to maintain their reading habits during the summer break while having fun. Reading fuels the imagination, fosters curiosity, and opens the door to new discoveries. I encourage families to take advantage of this program and the many activities offered by our library this summer,” said Mayor Paul Dumoulin.
