Swimming Registration | Fall 2026 Session
Registration for fall swimming lessons will begin on August 31 at 6 p.m. (residents) and on September 2 at 9 a.m. (everyone). In addition to the regular swimming lessons offered for children and adults, this year’s aquatic program includes two new additions: private lessons and an integration program for individuals with special needs.
Courses offered:
- Children’s swimming lessons
- Adult swimming lessons
- Aquatic safety and lifesaving training (Bronze Medallion, Bronze Cross, Standard First Aid – CPR/AED, Swim Instructor and National Lifeguard)
- Aquatic fitness classes (aquaforme, aquaforme endurance, aquaprofond and aquasanté)
New additions
Private lessons, lasting 30 or 45 minutes depending on the level, are intended for participants who experience greater difficulty progressing in group lessons. Offered in a one-on-one format (one instructor per participant), they provide personalized support to help participants succeed and continue developing their skills. To be eligible, participants must have failed the same level twice through the Ville de Vaudreuil-Dorion and need to retake the course for a third time.
The Aquatic Integration Program enables participants with special needs to take part in swimming lessons through accommodations tailored to their individual needs, such as specialized equipment, smaller groups, one-on-one support or other adaptations. This service is offered at no additional cost to eligible participants.
