A Busy Spring Break Week in Vaudreuil-Dorion
From March 2 to 6, 2026, the Ville de Vaudreuil-Dorion is offering a special spring break program for its residents. Parents will be able to choose from a wide variety of à la carte activities, with online registration opening on February 10 at 9 a.m..
“Spring break is a special time for families to spend quality time together. The Ville de Vaudreuil-Dorion is proud to offer parents a diverse and accessible program, allowing young people to fully enjoy this school break by discovering, learning, and staying active,” said Paul Dumoulin, Mayor of Vaudreuil-Dorion.
Children will have the opportunity to make the most of the week through a wide range of activities, including creative workshops, babysitting courses, sports initiations, shows, and take-home activity kits. Partners such as La Ribouldingue, La Mallette à bijoux, Bricolo Café Céramique, Faucon-Éduc, and Éducazoo, to name just a few, will share their expertise through stimulating artistic, playful, musical, and scientific workshops. Sports enthusiasts will be able to take part in regular and wheelchair basketball, floor hockey, and rock climbing in the gyms of the Centre multisports André-Chagnon. Along with their parents, children will also be able to enjoy open play sessions of table tennis, bingo, and board games. Weather permitting, residents will also have access to outdoor winter facilities at parc de la Maison-Valois and parc-nature Harwood.
Teenagers from Secondary I to III will not be left out, as a dance party specially organized for them will take place on March 6 starting at 8 p.m. at the Centre multisports André-Chagnon, at a cost of $2. This event is organized by Jeunesse 360, in collaboration with the Ville de Vaudreuil-Dorion.
As spaces are limited, registration is required for most activities. A child’s citizen card will be required at the time of registration. Some activities are offered free of charge, while others require a registration fee. The brochure detailing the à la carte activities is currently available.
Public Skating and Open Swim
Residents who wish to do so may participate free of charge in themed public skating sessions at the municipal arena (9, rue Jeannotte): on Tuesday, March 3, from 2 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., with princesses, and on Wednesday, March 4, from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m., with superheroes. The special spring break schedule, including open hockey, is available on the City’s website. The indoor pool (400, avenue Saint-Charles, Pavilion J) will also be open for public swimming from Monday to Friday between 1 p.m. and 4 p.m.
