Errances: surprising artistic performances taking over Vaudreuil Bay on August 23
The Ville de Vaudreuil-Dorion invites the public to discover the daring artists who will be performing at Errances on August 23, between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. This fourth edition will take the form of a walking tour of live performances in situ, from parc de la Maison-Valois to parc Le 405.
The first artist, Camille Deslauriers Ménard, will kick off the event at 4 p.m. with a performance at parc de la Maison-Valois. The public will be invited to follow her along the route, where she will meet six performers in three other locations: the Avenue Saint-Charles bike path, parc Paul-Gérin-Lajoie and parc Le 405.
“Errances has taken many forms over the past four years. This edition is more condensed, but returns to the original idea of the project, which is a walking tour. We want to reach out to the public, who will be able to attend various artistic performances ranging from storytelling to dance, music, slam poetry, and circus arts," explains Karine Marin, Section Head of Arts and Culture for the Ville de Vaudreuil-Dorion.
The City has enlisted the services of Thomas Duret for a fourth year. He is acting as the event’s independent curator.
