A redesigned website for a better citizen experience
The Ville de Vaudreuil-Dorion is pleased to announce the launch of an enhanced version of its website. Although this is a partial overhaul, the improvements are designed to optimize the user experience and facilitate access to municipal information.
This update is the result of a rigorous analysis of browsing statistics and citizens' habits. The home page has been redesigned to offer a simplified and intuitive navigation. The most frequently consulted pages can now be accessed directly via a new “Quick Links” section, and online services are clearly visible as soon as you enter the site. The search tool has also been improved to enable users to find information more efficiently. The popular calendar of events, news and address search tool have retained a prominent place in the home page.
"Over the years, several adjustments have been made to our site to meet specific needs. It became necessary to take a step back and re-evaluate the structure of the interface to better meet citizens' expectations," emphasizes France Lavoie, directrice of Service des communications. The website is one of the most popular communication tools used by our citizens. With over half a million page views a year, it is the reference point for municipal information.
This overhaul is part of an overall initiative to improve the citizen experience, which began with the launch of the Charlo conversational robot last March. Available at all times on the city's website, Charlo guides users in their search for information, whether to consult collection schedules, municipal services or upcoming activities.
With this new version of its website, the Ville de Vaudreuil-Dorion confirms its commitment to making information more accessible, simplifying navigation and putting technology at the service of the population. Residents are invited to discover the updates now!
