Training: Creating a Podcast

Podcasts have become an important medium of communication. In this workshop, participants will go through every step of the process, from coming up with an idea to producing a podcast. This is an opportunity to develop their scriptwriting skills. They’ll also have the chance to explore the library’s new recording studio. This winter, interested participants will be able to take their ideas from paper to the actual recording of their podcast. In collaboration with the École nationale de l’humour. Space is limited.

• 18 years old and over
• This is a 18-hour training program. Participants must commit to attending all sessions. (Thursdays, October 8, 15, and 22, and November 5, 12, and 19)
• Register online or by phone at 450-455-5588 for library members—whether residents or non-residents—starting Monday, September 21, at 10 a.m.
• Registration by phone for non-residents who do not have a library card, starting October 5 at 10 a.m.
