Réparothon

The Réparothon, held as part of the Semaine québécoise de réduction des déchets, aims to raise awareness among Vaudreuil-Dorion residents and provide them with practical tools to adopt the 3Rs approach. This free event gives residents the opportunity to meet with organizations and experts and have various items repaired to give them a second life.

Repair stations and workshop

• Aiguisage CL: sharpening of kitchen knives, gardening tools, scissors and lawn mower blades (maximum of 3 items)
• Centre d’action bénévole L’Actuel: thrift shop
• Cercle des fermières: clothing repairs
• Le Lab: equipment demonstrations and repairs (e.g., digital printing on clothing)
• PC Teck: computer troubleshooting
• Projet Zéro Déchet: making zero-waste personal care products (e.g., body scrub made from coffee grounds and unisex deodorant)
• Le Zèbre Rouge: minor bicycle adjustments
