Public meeting and exhibition

Guests: Gabriel Landry, painter, and Akim Kermiche, filmmaker

A special screening of the documentary C’est dans le noir que la lumière est la plus belle, which explores the artistic journey of painter Gabriel Landry. The 30-minute documentary will be followed by a discussion between the audience, the filmmaker and the painter, moderated by Stéphan Daigle.

Gabriel Landry’s artistic work primarily explores philosophical, poetic, humanitarian and spiritual themes, in a style he describes as cloisonist symbolism. His works featuring Félix Leclerc will be exhibited at the Maison Félix-Leclerc from October 9 to 31.
