The Lumin’Art exhibition invites visitors to enjoy a luminous and unifying experience at Le 405 Park. Under the theme “TOGETHER,” set designer Monica Brinkman puts the community in the spotlight through creations that celebrate diversity and what unites us.
Along the way:
- Monochromatic works by 27 artists from Vaudreuil-Soulanges, inspired by their identities.
- Creations centered on the symbolism of the circle, created by artists from Vaudreuil-Dorion and emerging artists.
- A large collective work composed of mandalas created by more than 400 young people.
- Human mandalas created by community groups and captured in photographs.
- A quilt made from upcycled textiles, pennants painted by residents and organizations, and messages of kindness written by residents of five senior living facilities.
- An original musical composition inspired by the four elements of nature, created by students in the Musique-Études program at Cité-des-Jeunes High School
- Creative writing pieces exploring inner color, written by students from the Centre des Belles-Rives.
- The “Mutation” installations, created in 2024, are also returning to illuminate the trail.
This project was made possible thanks to financial support from the Gouvernement du Québec.
