Social media platforms are designed to keep us hooked by automatically suggesting content that interests us and reinforces our opinions and beliefs. This is known as an “echo chamber.” As a result, we quickly find ourselves inundated with articles and videos that feed into these theories... even if the information they present is false! Led by a Science-Presse journalist, this workshop explores the different components of conspiracy theories and offers tips on how to stay alert!
