Fanzine: comic book

13 to 17 years old

Led by comic book artists Claude DesRosiers and Félix LaFlamme, this four-session workshop invites young people to dive into the world of comics by creating their own comic fanzine. By inventing characters, developing a short story, and drawing the panels, participants will explore the main steps involved in creating a comic while developing their own style and imagination. Once their story is complete, they’ll design a cover, put their fanzine together, and present it at a mini-book fair—a fun occasion to celebrate and share their creations with family and friends.
