Application for Permits

Are you undertaking renovations? Do you want to cut down a tree? For some types of permits, you can apply online.

It is strongly suggested to apply for multiple permits electronically. Moreover, no permit is issued on site. When completing an online application, you will have access to by-laws relating to the permit. In addition, it is now possible to pay online by credit card.

Two options are available:

The online permit application platform has recently been updated. As a result, some technical problems may occur. If you are unable to complete your application online, please contact the Permits and Inspections Division by e-mail or at 450 455-3371, ext. 2027.

It may take 3 to 4 weeks for your permit application to be processed and 7 to 10 days for information requests to be returned. Due to the high volume of permit applications, our teams cannot guarantee the usual processing times. To avoid delaying the process, we recommend that you do not follow up on your request by e-mail or telephone. If your request is incomplete, we will contact you for clarification.

For permits that cannot be applied for online, contact the Permits and Inspections Division before coming to City Hall: 450-455-3371, option 5 or infourbanisme@ville.vaudreuil-dorion.qc.ca. An appointment must be made to meet with the inspector handling your file.
