Creation of unique and original jewelry made from calabashes—natural materials that can be carved, painted, and decorated. This project is carried out with financial support from Ministère de l’Immigration, de la Francisation et de l’Intégration du Québec.

Wednesday, October 7 | Creation of a 30-cm statuette, with Chantal Koot

Dive into the fascinating world of Paverpol, a fabric hardener that transforms simple T-shirts into unique sculptural works. This introductory workshop will teach you the basics of sculpture (armature, materials, techniques) and guide you through the creation of an elegant statuette mounted on a stem.

Make a dishcloth while learning the basics of crochet. Demonstrations and personalized guidance from members of the Cercles des fermières throughout the activity.

Creation of a decorative arrangement using preserved foam and natural elements, exploring the textures and balance of materials inspired by nature.

Wednesday, October 28 | Acrylic Painting: “Pouring,” with Colette Fournier and Dominique Labelle

2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. (group 1) - 6 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. (group 2)

Pouring is an artistic medium that allows you to play with colors and achieve results that are as surprising as they are unpredictable. It is almost impossible to create the same painting twice, so each work is unique and sparks curiosity and a desire to experiment further.
