Sports fields and Centre Multisports

In addition to Centre Multisports, there are about 20 sports fields distributed all over the city to allow you to practice your favourite activities.

Sports fields

Sports fields are usually located in parks and green spaces and are designed for the following sports:

  • Baseball or Softball
  • Basketball
  • Football
  • Ball Hockey
  • Pétanque
  • Pickleball
  • Skateboard
  • Shuffleboard
  • Soccer
  • Tennis
  • Volleyball

Consult the interactive map to find the most convenient field for you.

Synthetic field

Since 2013, football and soccer players have benefitted from a synthetic field at the Cité-des-Jeunes campus. Measuring 110 by 65 yards, this field was designed to Canadian football standards to accommodate top teams. The synthetic surface maximizes the time of play for each sport and provides a location suited to high-level sports categories.

Centre Multisports

With a surface area of 14,000 square metres (on two floors), Centre Multisports has state-of-the-art facilities that meet the standards of national and international sports federations. Facilities include an athletics track, tennis courts, a climbing wall and gymnasiums for hockey, soccer, badminton, table tennis, volleyball, basketball, and ultimate frisbee.

It also includes fitness rooms and studios for group classes.

Free gymnasium activities

The City provides fitness facilities for residents of Vaudreuil-Dorion for free practice of certain sports, upon presentation of a resident’s card (no charge for residents, $5 for non-residents). Equipment is provided on-site.

New! Court Reservations

The two courts available in the morning for badminton and pickleball in the Omnisports Room of the Centre Multisports must be booked in advance.

  • Four one-hour-long time slots are available for each court according to the following schedule: 9:00–10:00 AM, 10:00–11:00 AM, 11:00–12:00 noon and 12:00–1:00 PM.

  • Each player is entitled to one time slot per day.
  • Players who have booked a time slot are permitted to be late for a maximum of 15 minutes. After this period, latecomers lose their priority for the reserved court.
