50 years and over

An introductory program in various artistic disciplines for people aged 50 and over.

By registering, participants agree to attend all four workshops.

Two groups will be offered during the winter session:

  • Group 1: 10 a.m. to noon
  • Group 2: 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Winter program

MARCH 6: CHORAL SINGING
Introductory choral singing workshop led by the Esperanto Choir
Voices, harmonies and singing a musical piece

MARCH 13 : BALADI
Baladi dance class led by Studio Nova teacher Dolly Tohme
History of belly dancing, basic techniques and learning a choreography

MARCH 20: GLASS MOSAIC
Introduction to glass mosaics inspired by the stained glass technique with Monica Brinkman

MARCH 27: TRADITIONAL NATIVE BEADING
Jewellery-making using the "little river" technique, a traditional Aboriginal beading technique, with Deborah Ratt, Cree artist from Eeyou Itschee (James Bay).

Workshops take place at Édifice de la Croisée, 1255, rue Émile-Bouchard (open during construction).
