Healthy Living

The City of Vaudreuil-Dorion is taking advantage of Physical Activity Month to offer a multitude of activities to its population to encourage them to adopt healthy lifestyle habits from April 29 to May 30.

Throughout the month of May, the themes of nutrition, rejuvenation and physical activity will be addressed through video conferences, workshops and animations in several locations throughout the territory, all in compliance with current health standards.

Some activities require registration.

Cyclomini educational bike course from Vélo-Québec

In collaboration with Vélo-Québec, a mini-city will be set up in the park to allow participants to become familiar with the principles of road safety. An animator will be on hand to help the children go through this educational bike course.

As part of the week of healthy eating, the artist Monica Brinkman will hold, in collaboration with the City of Vaudreuil-Dorion and the Table de sécurité alimentaire de Vaudreuil-Soulanges, cultural mediation workshops for the launch of the Community Fridge pilot project at the Carrefour Jeunesse emploi de Vaudreuil-Soulanges.

Horticultural Fair

Distribution of compost from your food waste collection, wood chips, grass seed, shrubs and trees, which, once planted, will contribute to the greening and beautification of the city. The event will be held from May 27 to May 30, and appointments must be made in advance.
