A columnist specializing in ornamental horticulture, Larry Hodgson, known as the Jardinier paresseux, has written horticultural columns for Le Soleil newspaper in Quebec and for the magazines Fleurs, Plantes, Jardins and Gardens Central. He is a frequent speaker for horticultural groups across Canada and the United States and is also a horticultural columnist for the CKIA-fm radio station. He is also the author of more than 50 books, including La bible des vivaces declined in 2 volumes and those of the series Le jardinier paresseux. He was especially known to the general public during the seven years he was columnist for TV shows Fleurs et Jardins and Salut Bonjour weekend.
