Wandering from parish to parish, the beggar of yesteryear carried his bag and his eternal stick, asking for: "Charity for the love of God". For children, he was both a source of fear and fascination. Wouldn't their mother brandish the eternal threat: "If you don't behave, the beggar will take you away with him in his sack! One thing's for sure, as the evening began, he became the storyteller who drew from his bag and his imagination the stories that make people travel and dream. Inspired by this legendary character, storyteller Francis Désilets invites you to his storytelling evening. What's in the beggar's bag tonight? A few good stories, of course, but also a few songs.
